Hey, I'm Dina
I'm a marine ecologist and science communicator based in the UK, passionate about bridging the gap between science and the public.
I'm a final-year postgraduate researcher at the University of Liverpool, researching whether marine environmental DNA (eDNA) can detect changes in intertidal biodiversity under climate change (funded by the ACCE DTP). The project is in collaboration with the University of Sheffield and the Marine Biological Association.

Beyond my PhD, I’m interested in how psychological-based marketing strategies can foster greater public support for conservation efforts.
I’m passionate about making science accessible to all, sharing my research journey - the good, the bad, and the ugly - as a proud first-generation student.
